Message from President

Dear fellows, members and associate members,

Happy New Year!

In December 2011, the president had signed two meaningful documents for the assoication. HKOA keeps standing up as a strong member in the International Orthopaedic World.

The Beijing Declaration promoted CARE with cooperation, advocacy, research and education in patient care. The signed associations committed to work on global strategy to unite the resources and expertise around the world to face future challenges in orthopaedic practice.

The Delhi Declaration was signed by presidents from national associations around the Asia Pacific regions. The signed APOA members committed to promote the art, science and practice of Orthopaedic surgery in the Asia-Pacific region and to collaborate with other international organizations for dissemination of orthpaedic knowledge.

In 2012, our council will continue to serve and unite our members and I hope we can do better in our second year of service.

Wish you a prosperous year of Dragon.

Dr Lee Yuen Lun §õ²W粦Âå¥Í
